Cherry Tree Cottage is open plan with lounge, kitchen dining area so Mum does not feel left out of the holiday while in the kitchen.
The room is bright and airy, with 3 large picture windows overlooking the front and back gardens plus exposed oak beams.
The comfortable lounge/ dining area has a stone and oak fireplace with a wood burner, there is a CTV, DVD player and a Hifi.
In the well equipped kitchen area there is a washing machine, gas cooker, fridge and a microwave, plus all the usual electric appliances.
On the 1st floor there is a shower room and 2 bedrooms, 2 large double bedrooms and a bedroom with bunk beds both have granite walls and exposed oak beams.
The bedrooms have electric heating for the winter and the shower room has a heated towel rail.
There is a separate patio with garden furniture, sun canopy and a BBQ.
Whilst we consider our accommodation to be child friendly, good parental supervision should be shown at all times.
There are two and a half acres of safe gardens with views over farmland. The communal patio area has a brick BBQ, the ideal place for parents to get to know one another, while the children play. We have had many an enjoyable evening with a BBQ and a few drinks. The heated above ground pool is made of teak to fit in with the surroundings in the orchard. The pool is open from May - September. The gardens are the ideal place to relax by the pool, have a picnic under a tree, or just sit and read a good book while drinking a glass a wine. There is a 14ft trampoline with safety nets, badminton, swings, boules, swing ball, football net, and basketball in the gardens, along with numerous games. In the covered veranda there is table soccer, table tennis and a darts board. The gardens are large and safe enough for children to play. Down the lane there is an 18 km Patrimoine walk through lovely countryside.
